Contiki Tour #2

It has now been Two Weeks since I have been back from latest Adventure with Contiki. Ten Days in Los Angele's. Boy was it a blast. You meet the greatest people on a Contiki, and some that will be lifelong friends.

Day One of the tour, we took a walking tour of downtown Los Angele's, right outside the hotel (Kyoto Grand Hotel) NICE hotel! <3 it. Then afterwards we got aboard the Contiki Coach and went around the entire city. West Hollywood, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Strip. Now that is a expensive place to shop - Rodeo Drive. Some stores you do not walk out without spending at least 10 grand. Kelly our Tour Manager told us when we were rolling up in Venice, that do not be surprised if you see people dealing drugs or smoking a joint. So we got off the bus and what did i see.. none other than someone smoking a joint as the group walked down to the beach. Also she said that you either like Venice or hate it. And to be honest I am not very fond of venice Beach. but do not take my word for it, go ahead and visit it yourself.

Star homes tour - a waste of time! Got to see no homes. and the ones we did see *yawn* nothing fancy to them at all. Madonna's house completely covered in bushes and trees.

Universal Studios was my favorite. Especially the Studio lot tour - Much bigger lot than i expected.

Hollywood Pub Crawl - great way to party Hollywood style. I really enjoyed the last club we went, true hollywood style. Rooftop, Pool, Private areas, Dancing, Pole dancing... Life couldnt have gotten any better that night.

Wore my Contiki Shirt the first day on Tour... My room mate was a littler jealous, she even asked me where i got it. And my tour manager, asked where i got it... They loved the shirt!

After the tour - Rented a car and drove to Glendora to pick up Brooke (friend from my First Contiki Tour) then we drove to Anaheim.. introduced myself to Claudia at the Contiki offices :) that was cool! weird though that i met Jenni, Brad, Josie and rest here first at the contiki party in calgary February 2011 after my first contiki. You'd think i would go to the Toronto offices first because of them. Its next on my list, no worries.

Afterwards Brooke and I went to Newport Beach, I love newport beach... but man was it crowded!

Played beer pong that night for the first time... and I was on fire, no literally i was. Beginner's Luck.

July 21, 2011 - Taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. That was way cool! Emma Stone was on.

went to a piano bar in Glendora - that was neat. never been to one before.

Went back to the Hotel, Kyoto Grand Hotel on Sunday to rest, and had drinks and met up with fellow Contiki Tour mates on other tours. :)

Left Monday Evening... So left the hotel around noon to return the Rental Car... Man Do i ever dislike LAX airport...
