M. and I don’t really have a penchant for visiting churches while on holiday. And in all honesty we would have probably missed this one had we not to have been travelling with my parents. But St. John The Evangelist church – or The Sailor’s Church – in Kagawong on Manitoulin Island is, in a word, special. It was one the highlights of our stay on Manitoulin and I can’t help but wax lyrical about the experience.
