Looking for travel bloggers to work with for mutual benefit

Hi! I'm the founder and editor of the UK based Europe a la Carte blog. I'm open to any suggestions from other travel bloggers about how we can work together to help promote our blogs.

I believe that there's a lot be gained through cooperation.

Duplicate content concerns me too. I often hear about syndication opportunities, but I'm leery. Anyone have an informed opinion on this?

For example, Yahoo has lots of content partners (Glamour, Babble, Bon Apetit), and lots of cross-posted content. Or articles that go to the partners' pages after the jump. I've often wondered how this hurts or helps the partner.

Obviously the links are great, but how does Google view the duplicate content?

It wouldn't be too difficult to create and maintain an all-top style page linking headlines to posts on the original site. The problem would be finding sponsorship/advertising.

Craig there is a Europe bloggers group:

I was toying with the idea of some sort of aggregation site for quality content about travel in Europe but don't have IT skills to do it and not sure about implications of duplicate content.

We have limited opportunities for people to do podcast interviews and destination guides on ITP. Local experts can also guest post for http://eurailstories.com.

I agree it would be useful to have a "European bloggers" group to spearhead marketing and advertising. I'm working on something which I hope will help travel podcasters with the same issues.

I would like to see if we can work together to promote our blogs. My blog is mostly about Florence, Italy and my journey to my move there. Feel free to read about me on my home website http://www.katerinafiore.com, my blog and consulting website are linked to my home website.

Let's brainstorm!

Thanks, Katie
