My "Howdy" Announcement Post - Kenny Edwards

Glad to be here.

I have always wanted to travel, and have occasionally gotten to.  Mostly Europe.  Never felt compelled to write about it.

Recently, I got to fulfill my wish to go to Beijing.  I have a long standing promise to go for a friend, and the blog discusses that.  I also fell in love with the city.  And I found that I wanted to share the insights and adventures that I had.

So come on over and enjoy my musings.  I am still working out this whole travel blog business.  Yes, I do intent to make some money from it to support my future travels.  There is tons to write still, and I work on the new content everyday.  Unfortunately/Fortunately (depends if you enjoy my work), I find it difficult to write short posts.  I prefer to finish my thought, and that is 'wordy' to do.

I am also adding 'resources' and 'tools' that I think can be useful to the Beijing traveler.

There are rough edges on the blog. I still have to put up the curtains, buy the new sofa, and add the patio deck and swimming pool, but it is home already for me.
