OFF TO JAIL IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY

My latest story on my blog LIFE IN THE EXPAT LANE tells the tale of how I almost ended up in a bush prison in Uganda. This was not my intended destination since my mate and friends and I were on the way to a game park. But we were young and not too experienced in the ways of the world and well, stupid.

This set me to wondering how many travelers here on this site have found themselves in jail or prison in a foreign country and lived to write about it. I'm just curious. I'd love to hear your tales, here or on my blog.
