Why November?
TravelBlogExchange has grown very fast, very quickly. While we'd love to do only warm weather conferences, it's not possible with a full time staff of three avid travelers. November for TBEX Europe gives us a good break between conferences (TBEX '11 is in June). Heaven help us when TBEX Asia starts up! November 4-6 is also a great time that doesn't conflict with other conferences. We want to make sure we enhance the travel blogging community, not compete with it.Why Copenhagen?

ere are a lot of reasons, starting with the fact that it's beautiful and used to hosting conferences like TBEX. And did you know that the people in Denmark are the happiest in the world? But seriously, here at TBEX we need to give full credit to our presenting platinum sponsors. These are the people who step up BEFORE there is a conference to promote. For TBEX Europe, that is Momondo. Because we have a small team, we rely heavily on our presenting sponsors to secure a location, assist with hotel rates and flights, not to mention find great places for our bloggers to visit. When a company or organization is willing to do this, we're excited. Also, Heather we are working on hotels and such for staff and speakers and those who have asked, I DO think that some hotels are offering discount codes, we just need to double check on which ones. I think identifying yourself as a TBEX attendee and letting them know you would post reviews might be an excellent place to start though for sure...
