Travel Blog Exchange

We've been busy bees working behind the scenes to pull together our first-ever TBEX Europe, which you may know by now will be held 4-6 November, in lovely Copenhagen, Denmark!

Yes, it's a quick turnaround, but we wanted to get a meeting in before the holidays and without making it too close to TBEX '11 in Vancouver next June.

We're looking forward to meeting many of our European counterparts and learning from the diverse group of speakers assembled.

A new approach to the TBEX programming format will debut in Copenhagen. Hands-on workshops on various topics like Travel Writing, Non-Narrative Travel Writing, Travel Video, Blog Branding, SEO 101, Advanced SEO, and more, will help each attendee produce something by the end of the meeting -- a class project, if you will. The workshop will be over two days (1.5 to 2 hours each day), and the attendees will learn skills the first day, then work on a project to completion the second day.

So without further ado, here's who we'll be hearing from during workshops and plenary sessions at TBEX Europe...a mashup of folks from various continents:

How do we sign up for the tours and workshops? I'm registered for the conference but haven't received an email about how to do this and the conference starts tomorrow. Thanks to anyone that's able to help.

The code can be entered when you click on the event registration link (see above post). There is a link that says "Enter Discount Code" on the following page. Hope that helps!

Jul: The schedule for speakers isn't up but we're rolling out a venue page soon. We have posted some hotel recommendations in the meantime.

Natale: The surprise is at the end of the video. It's a special code for registration.

Am I missing something? I can't seem to find info about this conference's schedule and location that is more specific than "Nov 4-6" and "Copenhagen".

Carol, are there flights from Aberdeen to Copenhagen?

Have you been to Aberdeen before? I'm not that keen on city but love the surrounding countryside.
