Turkey
The crew arrived in Turkey Sunday June 20. They flew into IST and stayed in Istanbul until Wednesday June 23. They spent Sunday night at The Garden House Hotel Istanbul. Ayhan, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful. The next day they moved over to The Seven Hills Hotel. I dealt with their reservations manager, Brittany, who was quite accommodating. I chose these two hotels as they had four-star rankings and a prime locations for our shoot- right between the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.

The details from the shoot I've received so far: a trip to the Bizarre, an interesting Turkish rug maker and a beautiful blonde! What more could you ask for?!
The crew is on its way to Edirne currently for the 649th Annual Kirkpinar Oil Wrestling Championships. This promises to be an amazing event and the perfect setting to close out our final episode. Of all the trips/episodes that I was involved in producing, I think this is the one that I am most sad to have missed. I am planning to go to Turkey as soon as I have the means and an enthusiastic travel buddy.
