Two Important (and Awesome) TBEX Announcements!

Things are moving along quite well in the planning of Travel Blog Exchange '09 in Chicago this July. Debbie and I are getting pretty excited -- the RSVPs are increasing, opportunities arising, perks for attendees multiplying...oh yes, and we now have a venue!

TBEX'09 will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center on Washington St. & Michigan Ave. in the downtown loop. ...Doesn't that provide a spectacular view of both Millenium Park and Lake Michigan you ask?

Why yes, yes it does. In fact, TBEX'09 will be held in a room overlooking the Park and Michigan Avenue with enormous wall-size windows.


But hopefully that won't distract everyone too much from the amazing lineup of panelists!

We would not have a venue, or an event for that matter, if it were not for our generous sponsors. Which brings me to my next point...


We have a new sponsor! Vail Resorts has joined TBEX'09 as a Platinum Sponsor and are helping to make this a fabulous free event for all attendees.

Vail Resorts basically owns all of my very favorite places in my home state of Colorado. From the bunny hill where I first learned to ski, all the way to the black diamonds where I became an obnoxious snowboarder, these folks are there...
