or
mei in Dutch, is the month that falls after
april (April) and before
juni (June). As you'll notice, the Dutch don't capitalize the months of the year. This also holds true for the days of the week (
maandag,
dinsdag,
woensdag,
donderdag,
vrijdag,
zaterdag, and
zondag).
Here is a list of what's going on in the Netherlands in
april 2010!
What's on in the Month of May?
The end of
April proved to be the beginning of a very busy time for me (mainly because I have this terrible habit of getting involved in more things than I actually have time for - maybe one day I'll learn) which probably won't settle until November. But I will be posting on the blog regularly. In the month of June, I plan to introduce an Expat Interview series and will start bring on some guest blogger beginning in July. This is good for both of us, as we'll be very tired of each other after this month is over as I've decided to take part in NaBloPoMo (more on that later), which means I will be posting here every day for 31 consecutive days! So keep checking back daily to see what new things I come up with.
