A while ago I looked into the booking of cheap flights Tenerife Germany.
Ryan Aire is using an airport near Duesseldorf.
I wanted to visit my daughter in Maastricht Holland.
My daughter has no car yet, as she only immigrated recently.
No doubt, all Ryan Air cheap flights offers, I received, were very cheap at the time.
However, this airport of Ryan Air by Duesseldorf is almost in the middle of nowhere north of the German city. A friend told me that the plane virtually lands in a region which is farm land. This means I would need to get to the next town by airport transfer to get to Duesseldorf railway station first.
From that city I should book a train to Maastricht. Having to take a train twice, as I would need to return to Tenerife, would set me back about Euros 120. Plus transport to get to the train station. All this doesn't look exactly like fun and cheap traveling altogether. Once you add on the charges for luggage to check in with Ryan Air you wonder if it is all worth the hassles and the cheap flights.
When somebody picks you up at any Ryan Air Airport or when you have direct transfer from it to your final destination, all looks more practical.
