Travel Blog Exchange

When I first read a while back that there would be wifi available on airplanes, I was a pretty happy camper. I'm not a huge fan of flying (but am a fan of going places), so the opportunity to be distracted from the headache-inducing metal tube hurling through the sky I'm riding in is a welcome respite. Plus, with airplane wifi I don't have to return to find a bazillion unread emails.

And within a short period of time, the company offering the service, Gogo Inflight Internet, has become available on select AirTran, American Airlines, Delta and Virgin America flights – with more added almost daily. Woo hoo.

Then, to add to my joy, the lovely folks at Gogo Inflight Internet contacted us and said the company behind wifi-in-the-sky wanted to sponsor TBEX '09!

That's right folks, the people who enabled blogging from the sky -- or staying on deadline with your editor from 35,000 feet -- are supporting the Travel Blog Exchange '09 event.

So click over and check out their website. And attendees who have RSVPed, keep an eye on your inbox for a special offer to try out Gogo Inflight Internet during your trip to Chicago!
